Didzis Kļaviņš of Tilde will present at the ELIA Together event in Barcelona, Spain, on February 11-12. The conference is expected to gather more than 340 language professionals from 37 countries, who will assemble over the course of two days to discuss the state of the European language services industry.

In his presentation, entitled "How a Diplomatic Approach Helps Build Long-term Relationships with LSPs and End-Clients,"Didzis will focus on the importance of communication in generating revenue for business. Didzis will reveal how diplomatic skills can contribute to better partnerships. Using various case studies, the presentation will contribute to a better understanding of relationships between language companies and freelancers, on the one hand, and LSPs and direct clients, on the other hand.

At Tilde, Didzis looks after operations for global markets, sales, and business development. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Latvia, where he wrote a dissertation on international diplomacy.
