On 9–10 June, a meeting of the LetsMT! project will take place in Edinburgh. The main objective of the meeting is to assess the performance of the project to date and agree on next project activities. Partners of the LetsMT! project jointly build a machine translation service that is available to anyone on the web, can be self-serviced and is specifically suitable for Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Danish, Czech and other minor languages as well as for specialized translation areas. Users of the LetsMT! platform will be able to customize the machine translation options specifically for their industry or work and obtain a consistent and good translation. One of key project focuses is on the use of machine translation for automation of translation and localization process.

Tilde company is a coordinator of the project which is implemented together with leading European machine translation researchers and practitioners from Edinburgh, Uppsala, Copenhagen and Zagreb universities as well as Netherlandic and Czech companies.
